UFsearch for term

An interior gradei resini used heavily in particleboardi, MDFi, and hardwood plywood manufacturing. UF is popular because it’s easy to use, low cost, and works under a wide range of conditions. It does, however, off gas urea formaldehydei.

Urea Formaldehydesearch for term

Urea formaldehydei (UFi) has been traditionally used in the compositei panel (mdfi and particleboardi) industry. It has been the choice resini, due to low cost, and ease of use. New government regulations in conjunction with building programs like LEED, are helping transform the market so that products are no longer made with UF. Alternatives to UF is PFi (phenol formaldehydei) and pMDI.
