Isocyanatesearch for term

A formaldehyde free resini, isocyanates, when cured, are totally inert with no emissions of any kind. Isocyanates bonds are stronger than Urea Formaldehydei or Phenol Formaldehydei bonds, as these resins form both a chemical and a physical bond. Isocyanates have been used to make strawboardi and some types of MDFi. It is also heavily used in the OSBi industry-generally as a resin in the corei, due to it’s high level of moisture resistance. Negatives include the fact that this resin is very expensive, and in it’s raw form requires careful handling to prevent workers from being "sensitized".
